Welcome
My Story
I have loved the Labrador Retriever my entire life. I grew up around dogs and became interested in training in my late teens. I started showing my dogs in obedience trials and I was hooked. As time went on, I increased my knowledge of the breed as well as my training skills.
I have trained dogs for many years and use a positive reinforcement based approach. I am a Certified Evaluator for the AKC. I have helped families with basic, intermediate and advanced obedience training, Trick Dog training, Working Certificates, Junior Hunting skills, Therapy Dog training, Service dog training and some behavioral intervention.
My breeding experience started many years ago. I have had multiple responsible breeder mentors over the years, all with slightly different experiences which gave me a well rounded understanding of the Labrador Retriever’s genetic health and temperament, which continues to be my top priority. When I choose to bring a litter into this world, I evaluate many generations of health conditions, genetic predispositions, and temperaments. I breed (working) and bench (show) Labrador Retrievers. All litters receiving the same thorough planning, care, and commitment from me as a breeder. I am a proud and active member of the American Kennel Club (AKC), United Kennel Club (UKC) and Pawcatuck River Labrador Retriever Club (PRLRC).
All of my puppies are born and raised in my home. Each interested family is screened to ensure that a Lab from RoseCliff is a perfect fit for their lifestyle. Puppies leave for their new homes, having been temperament tested, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), dewormed, first vaccines and micro-chipped. They are socialized, given noise training, water training and very much loved!
